A SELF-HELP ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Empowering Women  & Youth since 1994

Our Story

ASAP is a testimony to the power of love. Created by two Peace Corps volunteers who met and married while teaching in rural Swaziland,  together they personally witnessed unbelievable poverty, abuse and corruption in rural Africa and felt compelled to do something to help.  This is why "A Self-help Assistance Program"  (ASAP) was created.

ASAP's mission is to help families become self-reliant through education, tools and training in entrepreneurship,  marketable skills and financial management. For thirty years ASAP's commitment  to empowering women and youth has been unwavering.
