Who?
YOU can plan, lead, and roll-out a tool drive at your church, school, neighborhood, business, or club.
When?
From Mother's Day to Father's Day is a popular time, when ASAP will support your event with press releases and social media. Tools For Empowerment is grateful for your participation anytime that works for your group.
Where?
Identify a specific drop-off point in the building and build a tool receptacle or use totes that are clearly marked. Print this banner or design your own banner.
Why?
Your group will...
- do something meaningful and sustainable to help families in need become self-reliant.
- bring a sense of shared purpose and cohesion in your group - and - it's fun!
- keep tools out of landfills and put them into the hands of vocational school graduates
How?
Before you get started, Identify these Key people:
-Lead person & liaison with ASAP
- Volunteers to keep the tool drop area tidy and safe during the event.
-Volunteers on call with trucks to collect equipment donations.
